Front Cover
This is my music magazine front cover. I have made the colours bright and bold because it will link to the rave culture, i also like the way ive captured movement of the person. I think that the layout of this is a big improvement from the preliminary as i have included lots more elements to make the magazine look realistic. Preliminary Task
This is my preliminary task. I was creating a front cover for a school magazine. I chose to do mine on a particular year group, (year 11s). I think that from doing this task i gained alot of knowledge about how to set out a magazine and key elements you need to include. In this attempt i have missed out alot of details because of my lack of research and planning. You can see the improvement in Nu:Rave beacause i have planned and researched my target audience well. Introduction
Hey im Natalie.
I have named my magazine Nu:Rave. The genre of music is predominantly dance with a bit of pop and indie added in.
My target audience is women and men aged 17 - 30 (mainly students) who are into the partying/rave culture. They enjoy clubbing, not just for the social aspect, but mainly for the music and will go to individual gigs of their favourite DJs and bands. They like to be updated on gigs and new upcoming bands regularly. They are very fashion concious individuals who are unique in their style so my magazine will have lots more fashion pages compared to mixmag.
